This is the second edition of Probability and Statistics, The Science of Uncertainty by Michael J. Evans and Jeffrey S. Rosenthal published in 2010. A number of improvements have been made over the first edition. In particular there is now an Appendix that introduces the R language. There is a Solutions Manual available for instructors. We are compiling a list of typos/errors that arise in the book. Please let us know of any that you find.
